Aslan are one of Irish music’s most enduring names, a group who have spent fifteen years as a genuine people’s band. Formed in North city Dublin in the mid-80s, they made an instant impression when their debut album went to number one – following it with their classic single ‘Crazy World’ after a brief hiatus. Refusing to rest on their laurels, they have been busier and more productive than ever since the turn of the century – touring the world and releasing a string of best selling albums, culminating in 2009′s Uncased covers record that was only kept off the number one spot by Eminem.


Cry Before Dawn

Formed in 1982, Cry Before Dawn became one of Ireland best loved bands,
winning the prestigious IRMA award for “Best Newcomer” 1987, and “Best
Irish Group”, in 1989. Their two albums “Crimes Of Conscience” and “Witness
For The World” went double platinum and they developed a reputation for
being one of Irelands most passionate live bands. Their music is enhanced with

Fast forward to 2011, after more than 18 years apart and due to demand from
long time fans, the band completed a highly successful and critically acclaimed
reunion tour of Ireland and UK. The “Best of Cry Before Dawn” CD released to
coincide with the tour reached no. 12 in the Irish album charts. The band also
produced a live album “Live At The Opera House” from the two shows recorded
at Wexford Opera House during the tour.

Cry Before Dawn will begin 2013 with the release of a new single, their first
studio recording since 1992, as well as making announcements for live shows
throughout the year. The new single sees the band come back with a fresh
exciting sound that is sure to surprise and delight their loyal fans and appeal to
a new audience. The band still has the passion and energy that saw them forge
a special place in the hearts of their fans. It’s with this renewed strength and
conviction, that Cry Before Dawn look to 2013 with relish. Bring it on…..

The Dangleberries

The band, formed in September 2001, has performed throughout Scotland at festivals, includ-ing The Wickerman Festival, Wizard, Loopallu and the Tartan Heart Festival at Belladrum. It’s hard to categorize the music of The Dangleberries as they produce a very unique sound and, it has to be said, provide an extremely unique look!! Probably the best way to describe The Dangleberries is Pipe Rock. Their music comprises of a mixture between their own songs, including festival favourite “Festival Girl” and “More To This” and a variety of covers from all eras, including Kasabian’s “Fire” and Foster The People’s “Pumped Up Kicks”, among others!!

The band draw on many varied influences to produce a blend of bagpipes, drums and guitars, you can be certain that you’re going to love the end result. You’ll not be able to stop your feet from stompin!
